The SDE++ scheme supports large-scale renewable energy production and technologies that reduce CO₂ emissions. For NAMTA projects, relevant opportunities can include renewable gas production or certain CO₂ capture applications. The applicable SDE++ category and conditions depend on the specific project configuration.


Biogas can be upgraded to renewable gas for injection into the natural gas grid. NAMTA supports projects with the engineering and technical project definition required to prepare a well-founded SDE++ application.


Categories in CO₂ capture and reduction projects may qualify for support under the SDE++ scheme. NAMTA provides engineering support for CO₂ capture, purification and liquefaction projects and helps prepare the technical information required for the application.

on 27 October 2026 at 09:00 and closes on 26 November 2026 at 17:00.
A strong SDE++ application starts well before the application window opens.

Preparing an SDE++ application requires more than completing an online form. Mandatory supporting documents must be submitted, including a feasibility study, and additional technical information is required depending on the project category. Relevant permits may also need to be available or applied for before submission.
